ONHEIL: 'As Hope Dies' Video Posted Online

October 26, 2007

Dutch blackened metal band ONHEIL has released its self-produced video for the song "As Hope Dies". According to a press release, the clip "looks back at the first years of the band" and "marks the return of ONHEIL with a new lineup, now containing three guitarists, that was formed earlier this year."

ONHEIL was founded in 1999 and released a few succesful demos before issuing its first official CD, "The Threat", in 2003 via the now-defunct deceased War Cry Productions. In the beginning of 2007 the group launched a new lineup, featuring two lead vocalists and three guitarists, "giving them more possibilities to perfect their own 'black metal IRON MAIDEN'-sound for which they are praised," according to a press release.

ONHEIL is preparing material for its full-length debut, to be recorded in 2008.
